You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Some of you may have noticed that I am busy cleaning out my account in preparation to leaving DA. I will still be around for a few months but won't be posting anything new. I will be sure to leave a link to my new location before I finally go.
Your gallery is wonderful. I would hope you would not stop posting - and perhaps we older ones should start a group of our own. I agree there are a lot of young people on here - some of them are wonderful photographers with a lot of talent - both raw and refined. I would hope that you would not deprive us of seeing some of your wonderful work. I haven't posted in a while and there are only a few who visit my page and comment on my work - but when I post I get lots more. I visit loads of photographers on a daily basis and comment. Sometimes I don't have to post a critique or comments - just a smiley or a hug or some such is sufficient to let someone know that you approve of their work. Michelle
